Experience Australian migration law requires persons who provide immigration advice to be registered by the "Migration Agents Registration Authority". I am a registered migration agent (Registration Number 9250206). In 1989 I was contracted by the Australian Migration Consultants Association to develop and conduct training courses for Accredited Agents for the Business Migration Program. Attendance at these courses was compulsory for accredited agents. A substantial amount of work undertaken by Gilton involves business migration of individuals and the formulation of Labour Agreements. A Labour Agreement is a method of allowing people who have skills and qualifications in a particular industry sector to migrate to Australia. The agreements are negotiated with several government departments and are generally undertaken on behalf of large corporations who wish to employ a number of staff in Australia. Procedures also exist for Regional Headquarters Agreements which facilitate relocation to Australia. |

Philosophy The philosophy of Gilton Business Consultants is the provision of realistic advice. Cases which have no chance of success are not accepted. Because of the nature of immigration law, which involves interpretation by the Department of Immigration, no guarantee of success can ever be given. Where a chance of failure is identified, this is fully discussed with the client. Professional Associations
